Mandatory ePMA training on LEAP

The Electronic Prescribing and Medication Administration (ePMA) rollout to all wards across all SLAM sites will be completed by early 2024. If your role involves medication prescribing, administration, screening charts, dispensing etc., you are required to complete ePMA training specific to your role to gain access to the system.

ePMA training will be set as mandatory on LEAP from 1^st December 2023 for inpatient-facing staff in the following three groups:

• Prescribers – doctors (all grade), non-medical prescribers (nurses, pharmacists)
• Nursing – registered nurses, nursing associates
• Pharmacy – pharmacists, pharmacy technicians

ePMA training on LEAP is  eLearning which takes around 1 hour to complete.

If you have completed the LEAP eLearning previously, there is no need to repeat it and your profile will be marked as compliant. If you have completed the training on Digital Learning Solutions (DLS) and this is not reflected on LEAP, please email [e-mail] to get your records updated.
