Some former staff who were no longer employed by SLaM may have their accounts in LEAP marked as 'Suspended'. In this case, they can no longer log in to LEAP.
Some returning staff may be re-issued their previous SLaM user login, or otherwise have it re-activated. In this case. they be able to log on to the SLaM network, access their emails and MAUD etc, but be blocked by a "Suspended" message when trying to access LEAP.
The same scenario may also occur for staff who had a previous SLaM user account as a student or other stakeholder.
If your LEAP account is Suspended, but you believe it should not be, please Submit a help request or contact LEAP@slam.nhss.uk
Removing Suspended status in LEAP
- The LEAP admins would normally be able to uncheck the Suspended flag in LEAP if it is clear that a returning staff member now has an active SLaM account and login.
- The Workforce-Updates-LEAP team would normally (re) create the mandatory training profile for a staff member as those new details should be coming to them through the Recruitment / new starters processes.
LEAP records for former staff or suspended users
The details of learning delivered and training attendance in LEAP are retained, and will remain accessible to managers or to SLaM's Education & Development department.
An employee's LEAP training record will be re-activated if they rejoin SLaM, or otherwise have their Suspended status lifted.
Admin info re LEAP accounts - "Leavers" or Suspended:
NB as of 2021-24, LEAP users are not normally set as Suspended when leaving the Trust. They are simply moved to a nominal "Leavers" department (this drops them out of MAST and Active Staff audiences). These users cannot however log in to LEAP because their SLaM login credentials (as managed by Digital Services) should have been de-activated or have lapsed.
