Default access to core training:
If you have a SLaM login, but are not directly employed by SLaM, you will be able to log in to LEAP, with the default SLaM profile. You will be able to access core training.
As an honorary, or associate, staff member, you will be set up with a job-specific training profile in LEAP with mandatory renewal dates only if you are in one of the following groups, and/or your manager has arranged for you to be added to ESR.
Access to mandatory training on LEAP:
- The following groups of honoraries will be set up with mandatory training profiles on LEAP:
(i). Lewisham Social Workers (as agreed in SLA). Use form below to request access
(ii) Some other Social workers (as approved by the Social Workers Governance Forum). Use form below to request access
(iii) F1 and F2 doctors – (uploaded twice yearly by Workforce Intelligence from a list provided by Medical Staffing team)
(iv) Some other doctors, as honoraries added to ESR (please contact Medical Staffing team with enquiries about adding medical staff to ESR: MedicalHR@slam.nhs.uk)
(v) Trainee Clinical Psychologists (DClinPsych students) on extended HEE-facilitated placement at SLaM
- Other honoraries will not have a defined training profile, and will not be prompted or monitored for training compliance, unless they are added to ESR as outlined below:
Requesting honorary profiles to be set up in LEAP:
- Honoraries may be added to SLaM’s ESR records, in order for their job-specific training profile on LEAP to become available.
- If appropriate, you can fill in the attached form for adding Social workers, seconded staff, or others to LEAP and send it to HRTransactions@slam.nhs.uk - they will get a post number from the Workforce team and add the person to ESR.
- This process may take weeks, not days.
