Recording of Supervision on LEAP must comply with the confidentiality principles set out in SLaM's Supervision policy:
- Supervision is a confidential process between the supervisor and supervisee and should be conducted in accordance with the Supervision Policy.
- Supervision records must be shared and agreed between the supervisor and supervisee.
- Patient names should not be recorded within supervision records. Where reference to a patient is necessary, actions may be recorded against patient initials and/or Trust ID.
- Where a patient is discussed in supervision, the supervisee is responsible for ensuring that any relevant actions are recorded in [ePJS] within one week of the supervision taking place.
- Where there is a change in line management, new managers will not automatically have access to previous supervision records.
