If you are unable to attend training you may cancel this via LEAP up to 7 days for MAST courses or 14 Days for CPPD courses prior to the session. You can cancel your bookings by doing the following:
- Go to My Essential Learning on the menu on the home page> click My Bookings > click on the Course Name of the training session you are unable to attend > go to Classroom Sessions at the bottom of the page > Under Options click Cancel booking for your session > you must enter the reason for your cancellation in the Cancellation note field.
An auto email will be sent to your manager to inform them of the cancellation. Please note we are monitoring occurrences of cancellations to better understand reasons for places not being used.
You will be unable to book an alternative session on a course until you have cancelled your original booking. This is to avoid multiple places being blocked to other staff.
If you are unable to notify us you cannot attend
If you do not email the LEAP inbox or call the training administration team, it will result in you showing as 'Did Not Attend' the figures of which are being monitored by the Executive Leadership team.
If you need to cancel less than 7 days or 14 days before training email leap@slam.nhs.uk for MAST or workforcedevelopment@slam.nhs.uk for CPPD with your reason for cancelling. This this will be processed manually and your manager will be informed.
