Managers and Teams on LEAP
LEAP relies on HR's Electronic Staff Record (ESR) of who your manager is.
If your manager is wrongly listed in LEAP, it is likely that ESR is not up to date with details of your team. In this case, your manager should complete a Staff Change form to get ESR updated:
- If the change is not a pay-impacting change (i.e. only a change to the current line manager), please fill in this Workforce manager-update request form.
- If the change is a pay-impacting change (i.e. different pay grade) then please fill in the ESR Change Form. (If you have problems accessing that form, there is help and guidance here).
When the Change Form has been processed, such that the ESR record is up to date, the updated team and manager details will appear on LEAP.
If a form has been completed, you or your manager may check with your HR Business Partner to make sure that the updates are going through, or for other enquiries about staff in your team.
Managers and Appraisers on LEAP
Managers may delegate the appraisal of an employee to somebody else, and this can be set up easily on LEAP without need to fill in a Change Form. Details of how to delegate the appraiser role are here.
